The alert reaches the closest people first. Not a map pin in a stranger's inbox — a real name, how far, which way. Enough to start walking before you've finished thinking.

Someone taps Respond

The first capable person to say yes is claimed to you, so help doesn't crowd or double up. Everyone else can see it's handled — or step in if it isn't.

Held, not tapped — on purpose

A three-second hold is the difference between a real call for help and a bump in your bag. It keeps the network trustworthy: when an alert goes out, everyone knows it's real.

Who gets the alert

Why "verified human" matters

The alert only goes to verified humans — real people who were vouched for by three others standing physically beside them. That single fact is what makes it safe to trust a stranger who taps Respond.

In OMXUS, you become a verified human when three already-verified people are physically present, their phones confirm yours over Bluetooth, and each one signs. It can't be faked from a keyboard and it can't be transferred. So when your alert reaches someone, they aren't an anonymous account — they're a person the network already stood behind.

It cuts both ways. The responder knows the alert is real because it took a three-second hold from a verified person. You know the responder is real because becoming one takes three humans in a room. Trust isn't assumed here — it's built into how you get in the door.

No servers to trust either

The broadcast is phone-to-phone. There's no company reading it, no database logging where you were, no account to lock you out. The help is peer to peer, the way a shout for help always was.
